Aerial data acquisition along a railway
Generation of a digital terrain model and 3D vectorization of power lines and buildings
In fall 2013, BSF Swissphoto was commissioned to carry out an aerial survey of a 165 km long and 60 m wide railway section between Munich and Lindau by the National German Railway Company (“Deutsche Bahn”). The objective was the acquisition of laser data at a measurement rate of 20 points/m2. The survey flights were carried out in 2013 employing an Optech ALTM Gemini installed in a helicopter.
